Jenna Principi Ellison is a licensed architect in Massachusetts. Jenna was inspired to enter the profession by her exposure to her Families Construction, Design and Land Planning business. Growing up she was submerged in the varied architecture on the bucolic North and South Forks of Long Island.
Jenna graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor or Science in Architecture in 2012 and completed her Master of Architecture degree also at Northeastern in 2013.
Jenna has worked as the in-house architect for high end general contractors for the last ten years in the Boston area. She has designed fine custom homes and managed construction sites in both Massachusetts and on Long Island. Jenna frequently interacts with local building departments to obtain permits and has formed valuable relationships with these municipalities. She has developed alliances with some of the best Engineers, Landscape Architects, General Contractors, and Crafts people in New England as she works on residential renovations and additions.
She enjoys the challenge of seeing projects being brought to fruition often under tight space constraints and strict building codes. Jenna takes great pride in actively listening to her clients wants and needs and making the design process a collaborative and enjoyable experience.

What Sets Us Apart
We offer more than just beautiful designs—we bring a deep understanding of the entire building process to ensure your project runs smoothly from concept to completion.
Construction Estimating Expertise
With hands-on experience working in-house at a construction company, I bring extensive knowledge of construction estimating. This means you get accurate, realistic cost projections early in the process, helping you make confident decisions and avoid unexpected expenses down the line.
Zoning & Bylaw Knowledge
Navigating municipal zoning and building bylaws can be complex—but it’s an area where we excel. I draw on years of experience interpreting and applying local regulations to ensure your design aligns with all requirements, reducing the need for revisions and keeping your project on track.
Streamlined Permitting Process
Because we design with compliance in mind from day one, we’re able to pull permits efficiently and with confidence. Our thorough understanding of permitting requirements helps avoid common setbacks—so your project can move forward without unnecessary delays.
